Abe brings a lifetime of service, leadership, and real-world relocation experience to his real estate clients in Western North Carolina.  He’s a native Spanish speaker, proudly serving both English and Spanish-speaking buyers and sellers in the Asheville area.

Originally from Texas, Abe is an Army Veteran, serving 26 1/2 years in both active duty and Texas Army National Guard, stationed in North Carolina twice.  He is a retired Major that served in conventional and unconventional units and deployed extensively to South and Central America, and Iraq.  His career includes eight years of service in the Department of Defense as a Small Group Instructor for the Medical Corps Captains Career Course at Joint Base Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

During his military career, Abe and his family made several permanent change of station (PCS) moves, successfully coordinating the sale and purchase of homes.  He understands firsthand the pressure of strict timelines, vetting and hiring expert agents, and navigating major life transitions for family moves. Having completed multiple home purchases and sales himself, his experience helps guide clients with clarity and calm.

Today, Abe and his wife of 33 years, Dey, call Black Mountain home. They love living in picturesque Black Mountain sharing the passion for hiking, fishing, boating and conservation with clients looking for the tranquility of mountain life. Abe and Dey have a daughter, two sons, two grandsons and an ornery Pug (Peppa).

He also brings focused expertise to clients purchasing new construction or vacant land, helping them evaluate options carefully and make confident decisions as they plan their dream home.
